Managing and administering Ashley River’s policies for fair and equal treatment of all employees, with an emphasis on improving their welfare

Informing people of the history of Ashley River including scrapbook pictures of the past and present

Creating a plan for our facilities that would make them adaptable, accessible and aesthetically pleasing

Hospital Visitation
Visiting those in the hospital to show our members how much the Ashley River family cares for them. Dozens of volunteers bring the special message of the Lord's healing power to those who are sick and in need of care.

Nursing Home Visitation
Visiting nursing homes and making frequent short visits to deliver devotional material, remember birthdays and special occasions, or to say by their presence that they really care. Our nursing home members are special people who need caring friends to show them Jesus’ love.

Homebound or Shut-in
Allowing our homebound members to continue to be a part of the Ashley River family. Volunteers make frequent visits to assigned older adults so that they will continue to experience Christian fellowship in a personal way. Volunteers often help by celebrating special occasions such as birthdays and taking Easter baskets and Christmas gifts to their shut-ins.

Flower Delivery
Taking flowers provided for our Sanctuary to Ashley River members who are patients in local hospitals or nursing homes or who are homebound. In doing so, the flower arrangements continue to bring a message of beauty and the Lord's love throughout the week. They assure our members that we care for them and are praying for their speedy recovery.
