Children of Ashley River Baptist Church

Director of Children and Preschool Position Responsibilities Ashley River Baptist Church is currently seeking to fill the position of Director of Children and Preschool. This person is responsible for the development and promotion of a comprehensive program of religious education, ministries and activities for children ages birth through sixth grade. The position is salaried and full-time.

Ashley River Baptist Church believes that everyone needs the weekly study of God's Word, especially our children. Through the ministries of Children's Worship, Sunday School, Choir, Royal Ambassadors, Girls in Action, Bible School and Music Camp we can help children grow in their relationship to God and help them come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
Summer Events
	Summer Wednesdays June 23 - Summer's End at 6:00pm ARK Summer Activities in the Administration Building for children who have completed 1st-6th grade and in the CDC Building for children from birth-5K. Come join us as we travel around the world this summer with ARK Summer Adventures. Kids grade 1-6 are invited every Wednesday night from 5:45-7:30pm as we learn about other cultures and what missionaries are doing to reach them for Jesus. 	Getting Ready for Music and Mission Groups As August approaches, we are preparing for exciting opportunities for families. One of our ongoing ministries here at ARBC is the ministry to children on Wednesday Night in Music and Missions, and we need your help! Pray now and ask God if he is calling you to volunteer as a leader or a helper in one of our 4 children’s choirs, in Royal Ambassadors (boys grades 1-6), Girls in Action (girls grades 1-6), or Missions Friends (3 year olds, or 4-5 year olds). If God is calling you to work in any of these areas, call the church office so that we can help you plug in.
